Insulting and unprofessional
January 18, 2017Background: I am a recently retired military officer and physician. I have extensive experience in dealing with others in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner, as this was essential in my military and medical careers. I have never in my life experienced such disrespect, ignorance, and unprofessionalism as I have with Mohawk Studios, LLC. I was approved for one of their apartment homes based upon income and qualifications. Yesterday early afternoon, I was sent a copy of the lease ...agreement, and I was asked to sign and return to Mohawk Studios by 5pm. Given that paying attention to detail is part of my job, I went over the lease agreement carefully, and I asked an attorney colleague to peruse the document as well. After finding a few sections that didn't add up, I proposed a few questions to Mohawk Studios, LLC. for clarification. Upon seeing that I was not going to blindly sign their lease agreement without asking questions, they dropped me as a prospective tenant and move forward with another individual... this was AFTER I already paid the security deposit. The purpose of this review is to highlight the dishonesty, unprofessionalism, and likely, profiteering qualities of this company.
