July 28, 2015Overall, I really like my apartment. The location is good—Close enough to walk to many restaurants, conveniently sandwiched between Westwood and Santa Monica, and only a few miles to the beach. The rent is competitive for West LA and the management company pays for water. When something breaks, the management is fairly quick to send a maintenance person to address the issue. Plus, I've never taken a cold shower living here; there is ample hot water for all tenants. The downsides of the building ...are: 1. Bad laundry facilities. The washer and dryer barely work and often leave your laundry smelly. The dryer never finishes drying in 1 cycle. It's better to just drag all of your laundry to the coin wash. 2. Proximity to high-end apartment/condos next door. This building is really ugly, it blocks out the sun, and its tenants are quite boisterous. 3. Some extremely loud and angry neighbors. 4. Above average number of bugs in my apartment. Overall, I really like my apartment and will probably stay a while. For me, its size and affordability make up for many of its annoyances.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
