spent an entire weekend cleaning up, was his job and viable storage. Needless to say, I was disappointed, not to mention shocked at the lack of care and appreciation this man showed me. I kindly asked him if I could add to the beauty of my new home by adding plants in a now barren planting area. He said no, and I assumed this was because he fathomed it may take more up keep that he did not want to do. A couple months later, I received a notice that I would be evicted. I called in disbelief, to ask what this was all about, and he said that he had seen a cat bowl and that I had not paid the $100 pet deposit. SMH, I did not own a cat, but the neighbor who moved out 3 months after moving in did have a cat and left a bowl on our shared deck. I told him this, and he said ok I guess I will work with you. I believe this is harassment, and he later argued that I had a room-mate that was not approved, all heresay, and told me I would need to move. I told him, no I will not because I signed a lease, and his accusations were false. He then exclaimed that I had better have a good attorney. I said what for? I did nothing to break the terms of the lease. It has been several months since then and I continue to abide by the terms of the lease. This type of property manager/tenant relationship is why I am looking for another place to live at the end of the lease.
