Just nasty!
September 29, 2022There’s so many cons to this place, i’m not sure where to even start. If you like roaches and other pests this is the ideal place for you! I lived in a ground floor apartment for a year and I went through multiple roach infestations, a house fly infestation, a fruit fly infestation and have seen a plethora of other creatures such as spiders and lizards. The building is really old and the infrastructure is poor which makes it super easy for pests to come in. Also they have a huge dumpster in the ...front that rarely gets taken out and stinks really bad even though we pay HOA fees, attracting roaches and other pests. Another thing that was annoying is that our mailboxes are RIGHT smack in the front of the building and not in a secure area, so mail theft happened often. Theres even posters above the mailboxes from other residents calling out mail thieves. Along with that the building doesn’t take rain very well. Every time there was a thunderstorm my living room and bathroom would leak to the point where my bath mats were completely soaked and my living room was full of water. I asked maintenance multiple times to fix the issue but they would just spray paint over the water stains and call it a day. Furthermore I never felt safe in my apartment, the windows are very shabby and someone could easily break in with a swift kick, it didn’t help that I lived on the ground floor either. Lastly management is rude, snarky and unresponsive, once you sign your lease they will ignore you and your issues. It felt like pulling teeth every-time I submitted a maintenance request. Sometimes they would just straight up ignore it and mark the request as complete without every stepping foot in my apartment. The only pro is the location if you’re a UT student. Other than that I advise you to take your money elsewhere.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Location and Price good, rest everything sucks!
March 30, 2017Conveniently located to UT campus and size of the apartment is decent with hard wood flooring. Apart from this, no other pro. It's a condo - not an apartment ( as name incorrectly suggests) - this means the management is not at site. It's just an old building with 25-30 units but is VERY unclean and poorly maintained. Maintenance doesn't respond for weeks, property management staff is rude. Everything can be heard from the other room inside the house so really bad for privacy.Although, if all ...you care about is money, then you can survive here for 1-2 years like we did.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
