A few blocks from the beach, but not quite close enough to endure the "riff raff" of the boardwalk, it really is the best of both worlds. Walking distance from Abbot Kinney as well, you're near a whole bunch of great coffee shops, which for someone like myself is an absolute PLUS. You don't even need a car living around here. Sure its helpful, but its not quite like the rest of Los Angeles. What's important to know about this building and the area that you're in, is that its quite a quiet sleepy part of LA. Venice shuts down early and the nightlife isn't too active; but if you like to wake up early, go for a run/bike on the beach, or do some morning yoga, this is the place for you. With twitter and google and snapchat moving into the neighborhood, you'll hear some complaints here and there, but such is the progression of any popular area. The apartment itself has an eat in kitchen, a nice roomy living room that I have also converted into a mini office, and a nice spacious carpeted bedroom. Overall its an older building, so there are some funky things here and there with plumbing etc, but the managers have been very responsive to all my needs since I have moved in. Overall, I admit that I boast about my apartment and my neighborhood on the daily basis.
