MV, SJ, Milpitas, east coast, midwest, etc etc. At Arroyo you will be lucky to see 1 roach per week. In the summer you will see 2-3 roaches EVERY DAY INDOORS. This place needs to be exterminatored with the tent but I know the management is too cheap to do that. Look forward to be awakened at night to the "scuttle-scuttle" sound of roaches crawling around near your bed, I like to stay up with my Raid in hand until I know I got em. And of course if you see 2-3 roaches, think about the 20-30 you didn't see but are just behind the baseboards. By the way, you will see both kinds of roaches, the black ones and the pretty caramel brown ones. HEAT: MAKE SURE to tour the unit on a warm day, do not view it in the winter, don't get tricked by the management with "how about tomorrow morning?". This place absolutely scorches in the spring, summer, and fall. On a 90 degree day it will be 102 inside, I've never seen an apartment that builds up heat this badly. The plumbing appears to be designed in a way where it is just below the floor. Make sure to touch the floor when you view the place, it is warm and will make your 102 degree indoors go to a nice 104. I've never seen an apartment designed like this. WALLS/SOUND: the walls are the proverbial paper-thin. You will hear your neighbors flush their toilets, shower, sing, blow their nose, sneeze (Bless You!) and every other bodily function you can think of. PLUMBING: We lost hot water for 6 days with no notice, no explanation, no updates. 6 DAYS without hot water!!! The water when it works is extremely sensitive to your neighbor's usage - prepare to get scalded with hot water when you shower just because your neighbor flushed. In another incident, the tub backed up with sewage, bugs, worms, etc was filling the tub 8 inches deep, no response, no explanation from the management. I just prayed and when it finally drained 2 days later I bleached the hell out of the black ringed tub.
