The Apartment
August 18, 2015The apartment is in a good area and a great value. You are really close to restaurants and the mall. Also the bike path is really close. The landlord is great. There is no dishwasher, but the building has a washer and dryer. There is no air conditioning either.Review from Apartments.com
Nice Apartment On the Edge of Redondo Beach
July 28, 2015The apartments are not very big, but good for the price. There are mostly 2 bedroom apartments in the building with two, three bedrooms in the back. Mostly families live in the complex and the neighborhood is pretty quiet. The apartment is close to grocery stores and restaurants. The freeway is only a mile or so from the apartment as well, which is something you don't always experience in the South Bay. Although, parking is tough the unit does come with a garage under the building. It is not ...connected to the apartment itself. There is no dishwasher in the unit either. There is good air flow and a lot of natural light gets in. The upper units can get pretty hot during the summer though. The landlord is friendly and I probably see her once a month. My Apartment
July 28, 2015Pros: The landlord is great (apartment is family owned, not operated by a property management company), very responsive when you have an issue. I don't think I have left her one voicemail since I have moved in. She always picks up the phone. The unit comes with a garage which is great. You are pretty much walking distance to 7-11, good restaurants, the bike path, the Southbay Galleria, and tons of other shopping, which is great. There are bus stops nearby as well. Not a lot of crime in the area, ...we have the occasional outburst from a neighbor, but nothing serious. Mostly families live in the area. Cons: No pets. The apartment is okay itself is older. There are things here and there that don't work. At times you feel like you are roommates with the people that live around you rather than neighbors because you can hear almost everything they do. The washer and dryer are expensive and barely do the job. If you have a downstairs apartment you have new windows. Street parking is an issue because people park to save stops, rather than be considerate of their neighbors. There is only parking one side of the road.
