Mechanic Lofts
September 1, 2015The reason for the average , three star rating isn't because the apartments aren't nice. It's because the owners don't seem to think they should remain in good condition. This building used to be a dance hall, and in renovating it to apartments the designers did a wonderful job keeping the buildings aesthetics. Every apartment of the 18 is different. There are sixteen foot ceilings with brick walls, bamboo floors, Levilor blinds, stainless look appliances, and washers and dryers in each apt.. ...The dwellings themselves are very nice, the two bedroom lofts have two full baths, 25 foot ceilings and have the same industrial chic feel as the one bedrooms. The problem lies in the lack of care. We currently have no in house manager, and no maintenance man to contact. When things are fixed they never seem to be fixed to their original state, ever. The building itself is not kept as clean as it should be. BUT, if you are okay on your own and don't break anything, or fix it yourself if you do, the location is great and your apartment can be awesome. Its just too bad that the owners don't feel that this building is deserving of their care.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

August 6, 2015My apartment is an old historical building that went from the 1800s being an opera house to a bar and grill in the 1900s and now since 2006 it's remodeled loft apartments they are beautiful hardwood floors kitchen islands exposed beams and cathedral ceilings it's really somewhere you should check out for yourselfReview from Apartments.com
