Absolutely terrible management
October 2, 2022The absolute rudest and unhelpful people manage this building, you can see from the comments below! Good luck getting anything fixed or cleaned. I have been cursed and ranted at for even looking in the super's direction. The landlord is just as worse and told me she "gets angry easily". Sad because neither of those people should be allowed to be serving tenants.Review from Apartments.com
Horrible management
February 2, 2021This is not a good place to live at all. While the apartment was a decent size, the building is not kept up whatsoever, there are cockroaches and the super is extremely difficult to deal with. Do not live here and avoid if you can. The elevator does not work well, first it goes up and then down.Review from Apartments.com
Bad management and super
August 4, 2020First off the supers is the rudest and hard to work with as you could see in the other reviews the building is really dirty she doesn’t bother to clean anything in the building there’s garbage every where the elevator is the dirtiest is smells really bad it’s discolored doesn’t look good at lookReview from Apartments.com
Good Vibes
May 27, 2018I have lived in this apartment building for many years and it holds a very dear place in my heart. The neighborhood is quiet and now that it's been discovered, there are so many more places to eat and find entertainment. Subway is close and a library right across the street. My apartment is roomy. I have never had any problems with the super or the landlord. Both are friendly and helpful if you need something repaired or to just say hello. The new front doors enhance the safety and the look of an ...already charming place built in the 30's.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Lovely building
May 8, 2018I’ve lived in this building for many years and consider it my home. I have always felt safe living here and say hello to other neighbors. Things I need fixed are done and the super teaches me how to maintain something myself whenever possible. I appreciate the supers for keeping the place safe, quiet, and clean—and helping with other things under their control. Love living here. The neighborhood is great too with many restaurants and stores close by.Review from Apartments.com
terrible management, dirty building
March 22, 2018The location of this building is amazing, the apt sizes are great. HOWEVER, the management is terrible. The building is NEVER cleaned, the floors are dirty all the time, garbage is everywhere, and the Super is impossible to work with. She has a terrible attitude and blames the tenets for everything. Your ceiling is leaking? what did YOU do? Your stove isn't working? WHAT DID YOU DO? Terrible attitude and terrible super.Review from Apartments.com
Awful management
August 23, 2017the building is NEVER cleaned. the floor are covered with garbage, and smells fowl. The super never cleans the floors. Awful management.Review from Apartments.com
My review
August 19, 2015This is a very cool pre-war building in the hart of Astoria, only steps away from the R train. Only reason the rating isn't better is the building manager is very hard to deal with, she should of retired long ago. lolReview from Apartments.com
