3415 Mentone - Great management, needs updates

I previously lived in one unit for 6 years, moved out and just moved back. I've been in my new unit for a little over a year now. I came back because the management company is the best and they keep the rent fairly low for the area. The building is pretty well maintained and they respond quickly to any maintenance issues. My only complaints would be that the building could use some updates/repairs. We've had a flea infestation which was taken care of and roaches here & there, also taken care ...
of. The units are in need of appliance upgrades. The dishwasher in my unit has probably been there since the building was constructed in the 70's and the same goes for the wall air conditioning unit. When the temperatures reach above 80 degrees it's as if my air conditioner is not even on. I've complained about this to maintenance and been told I haven't cleaned the filter or I need to turn the ceiling fan off. How about replacing the air conditioning unit? Other than that I love the location and all of the neighbors are friendly. You also get a lot of space for the money.
