many reasons, our kitchen also has two windows and a door, great for keeping the heat of cooking in the kitchen and exiting it through the windows. Both rooms also decent size with one having a closet , theirs three more closets in the hallway one mainly for the restroom, the negatives with the apt. we can't use an AC cause of the window guards which make summers VERY HOT, we pay electric so windowless AC's are out the question, also because of the heat we get more bugs than usual. Winters are COLD , we get heat mostly during the daytime and hot water mostly during the night, were on the first floor so we receive a lot of outside noise, the building is old and rent goes up every year. That's why our apt. is average on the rating scale but its still a place WE call home.
