    • An experience I will never forget.

      It's been some time since I lived here, but I occasionally go past the place, and I remember just how awful it was. At first the units seem pretty cute and quaint, especially for how close they are to the lake, but trouble started as the weather got colder. Poor insulation, moisture and mold problems were abundant. To make matters worse, when the landlord was made aware of these problems he would blame the occupants and do nothing to help them. Getting something repaired was also a hassle and ...
      inconvenience, as the landlord would show up anytime, without warning, to make the "repairs" himself or have his maintenance guy try to repair it. Nothing was ever fully repaired, just patched and made to look okay. My advice is to steer clear, no matter how cheap it is or how nice the landlord seems. It will save you time, money, and headaches.
