Love is in the Heart of the City
August 14, 2015I recently moved into the Wood lawn area from B-town, and let me tell you it's much more quiet. I'm a southern bell with Mississippi roots, but I love the city of Chicago. I have 2 daughters so a nice place with a park was perfect for me, and we only stay two blocks from the CTA, and near the train station on a main street. The maintenance team for my unit are very down to earth, and when issues arrive they are on the front line. Not to mention we have assigned parking spaces in the back for no ...additional cost, there's a cleaning lady here monthly, a bug guy here on the 3rd Saturday, and lawn guy/lady on the 3rd Sunday. They even ask the tenants kids to assists with building up keep for some extra cash. I've invited the whole building to several of my BBQ's, and to think I couldn't do things like this at other places I've lived. I have plans to buy a house in the next 2 years, but with this comfortable set up I don't know if I can. I definitely feel spoiled, and I'm okay with that because love is in the Heart of the City.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
