management is unprofessional and cheap.
August 2, 2021This place only gets 1 star because they tried to modernize the place and its a decent price for the location, otherwise it deserved no stars. My roommate and I moved in right after they renovated the apartment. Upon moving in, our apartment was immediately trashed. It was covered in dried spilled paint on the floor, sawdust, dead bugs, and dust bunnies. We cleaned the apartment to the best of our ability. However, they eventually ended up charging us for the disaster that they created. I got ...charged a flat $192 for cleaning and $150 for a tiny stain on a cheap bench that they had in the place. Some of the damage that they blamed us for was actually created by them (such as dried paint stains on the floor and in the bathtub). They charged us after verbally telling me that they wouldn't charge for any cleaning less than $250 (due to COVID and us not being professional cleaners - as noted by the lady that called me). - side note, if you live here, get everything they tell you in writing. They like to call you when you complain about stuff, but get it in writing because they will tell you something and then do the opposite/or not address the issue at all. They aren't very receptive to this desire but at the end of the day you're paying them to live there. In addition, our apartment, along with many other peoples cars/apartments, was broken into and management failed to put any cameras up to prevent this from happening again. They also refused to fix a drying machine that stains your clothes black. There is no noise curfew (that we were told). Some tenants would be up till 3AM blasting music on a Sunday or Monday. Management only decided to do something about this once I told them it was part of the reason I was relocating, regardless of numerous complaints prior. Overall, management is super cheap. They enjoy taking your money but not putting any of it back into the place. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere to live. I live right down the street at another apartment building and I can already tell a major difference in professionalism and careness, so its definitely possible to find a place close to here but with much better management.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Location is great, management is not
January 15, 2020The location of this apartment is amazing, very walkable and has everything in the area. The management is dreadful, they do not remove snow from the parking lot for on average 3 days after a snowfall. At which point it is so packed down and slick the entire parking lot turns into ice, incredibly dangerous. They tried to jam as many parking spots on to the pavement as possible, which means the spots are so tight you can barely get in and out of your cars. The building was recently treated for ...cockroaches, and no notice was given or an explanation of why exterminators were entering the building. There’s been a gigantic dumpster sitting in the only outdoor green area for almost a year where people throw their personal trash into (instead of the designated trash bins that are emptied) which in the summertime smells disgusting. Not to mention the dumpster is almost sitting in the already minuscule parking lot. For the amount of money you dish out in rent, the bare minimum expectations are not met.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
