Nice place to live
June 5, 2021I’ve been here a year now and just resigned and this is the best apartment complex I’ve lived in so far. Everyone is friendly, quiet and helpful! Never had an issue with anything breaking and if I do need something the landlord fixes it himself. The management is also friendly and helpful as well. If you’re looking for something reasonably priced, friendly and close to all the shopping areas of merrillville and schererville then definitely consider cedar point!Review from Apartments.com

May 2, 2017this is NOT a place you want to even think about renting. The property is outdated, the staff is extremely unhelpful, maintenance is almost impossible to obtain, the walls and subflooring might as well be paper, you can hear EVERYTHING. Complaints to the front office generally result in them telling you to call the police if the noise bothers you. Pet Owners allowing their animals to do their business on the sidewalks and not even bothering to pick it up, this is particularly problematic in ...the winter, as the snow buries it and you will step in it without knowing. As for snow removal, that is also a joke, they plow the parking lot, but it results in you having to dig your car out to be able to get out of the parking spots. They barely salt the steps and forget about keeping the sidewalks clear. The rent is far too high i feel for the absolute bare minimum that management provides. Security doors that dont latch or are broken on a daily basis, intercoms and buzzers that dont work, All in all an extremely unpleasant and shoddy experience. Do yourself a favor and steer clear, dont take my word for it, ask anyone who has lived there for more than a year, its just horrible.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
