Perfect Location,But Landlord Could Use a Dose of Landlord /Tenant Etiquette
August 10, 2015Although it was not the ideal apartment , It was all we could afford. The building is old, but surprisingly looks more attractive on the outside than inside. The best feature of the building is that it is quiet compared to the other buildings located on the same block. However, the location is perfect especially for those of us who cannot afford a car. In terms of transportation there is access to a multitude of bus lines and two major subway lines (E & F). The LIRR Jamaica station is within ...five blocks from the building located on Supthin and Archer Avenue. In addition to an array of food choices from different cultures, the area is surrounded by judicial hierarchy such as The Queens Supreme and Family courts. Other major institutions located within walking distance includes the Social Security building, York College (CUNY) , and the major shopping area known just as "Jamaica Avenue". So, the only complaint I have is that my landlord has no for respect for tenants, and could use tenant /landlord etiquette training. There should be some formal requirement for landlords to attend classes before they are allowed to purchase property with the intent to rent to the public. 3 starsRead MoreReview from Apartments.com
