Heaven on Mass Ave!
August 4, 2015My boyfriend and I absolutely adore this apartment - we've been living here for almost two years and have loved every second of it. The apartment building itself has an awesome aesthetic from the outside, and the apartments have tons of character as well. Beautiful hardwood floors, french doors that separate the living room from the dining room/office, huge kitchen with a breakfast bar that looks into the living room (so you can socialize with your guests while hosting!), tons of storage space, ...two great sized bedrooms, a recently renovated bathroom, central air, laundry in building...I could go on and on. The building is also about a 3 minute walk from the central square T stop and a 10 minute walk from harvard yard, which was perfect for me while I was in school. Our favorite thing was how much space we had. Guests would come over and always comment on how they couldn't believe we found an apartment this big and nice in such a great area. Also, the live-in super, Evelyn, is the best!! Two minor details to note when considering this building - the floors are pretty thin and slant a little bit, so I suggest buying a noise canceling machine or earplugs for sleeping if you're a light sleeper. We noticed the slanting when we first moved in, but it has never been an issue for us. Overall, I can't say enough good things about this apartment and we will be so sad when we have to go! Amazing Apartment, Unbeatable Price, Thin Walls
August 4, 2015This place is spectacular! It's right on Mass ave and a 5 minute walk from central square. The apartment is huge (2 bedrooms, TV room, an office / dining area, roomy kitchen)! Every time friends come over they comment on how enormous our place is. The kitchen has a breakfast bar which is great, because it really opens up the TV room and allows us to hang out and prepare drinks / snacks in the kitchen and still be a part of the group in the TV room. Did I mention the place has central A/C?! The ...super lives in building and is very friendly and has always been up immediately whenever something gets stuck in the garbage disposal or for any other apartment related mishaps. For the price, this place is superior to every friends building in Cambridge, bar none. The only downside is that the walls and floors are incredibly thin. I recommend investing in a noise cancelling machine or else you are going to know exactly what your roommate or neighbor is up to on Saturday night...Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
