not been cleaned and contained stained carpets that had not been vacuumed nor cleaned, dead maggots in all the kitchen cabinets, along with human hair filling the sinks, and a refrigerator and freezer that had completely molded. I demanded my money back. The manager denied giving my money. I was broke, stuck, and had nothing else to turn to. My fiance, father n law, and myself had to clean and fix the disgusting mess ourselves. It took almost a year for the owner to approve us a new fridge. Our apartment flooded a year ago due to a pipe bursting on the roof, after removing a 7ft by 2ft section of my bedroom wall and us cramming everything from our room to the kitchen and living room. We were denied a hotel room while my house was tore apart and us running the flood companies machines for 6 days with a two year old. And still with repairs out of our control they have yet to be fixed. $1100 a month for a 2br/2ba isn't worth it when you have dishonest landlords, managers, and currently a roach infestation, to where pest control comes out every month but they continue to fill the units. Now with a second child on the way and taking in my in laws who are disabled, 6 people in a 2 br is just to tight. We have sunk our own time and money here to where we are unable to move let alone afford to.
