Wonderful place to live!
June 26, 2021We love living here! The apartments are spacious and modern,the amenities are phenomenal for the price, and the staff are so courteous and helpful. Our dogs love it here too. So hard to find an apartment that accepts big dogs. Maintenance is usually next day or same day, and they always clean up after themselves so well. FYI, although the application fee seems high, it is only one fee for multiple adults, whereas other local apartments have one fee for each adult, so it is similar in price to ...other companies in town.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

Poor management!
April 19, 2018The owners of this complex do not care about the tenants safety! This past winter, they instructed the on site management not to shovel and plow on certain times to avoid snow removal costs even when there was a foot of snow on sidewalks and 6-8 inches on the parking lot. Inspite of the poor grounds care, they continue to raise rents by 12%. So if you don't mind doing your own shoveling, wear snow shoes to get your mail and to constantly have a tow truck to come and pull you out to the main ...road, this would be your team living place.Property Manager Responded

Misleading, be careful
November 3, 2017When my wife an I rented we were told it was a smoking permitted unit, we stayed there 1 year. The carpet was old, at least 5 years and we had pet odors and MOLD! We washed the carpet at least five times during our stay yet when we moved out due to a rent increase we were charged to replace the carpet due to....smoke odors. Really, you told us we could smoke (now they are smoke free) then charge us $2100 to replace the OLD carpet. AWFUL!!!
January 15, 2017I lived in Bear Creek for 3 years. It was a terrible place to live. The actual apartment was nice but the management was so incompetent it was mind boggleing. They constantly lost rent checks and the maintenance guys were nonexistent. It was like pulling teeth to get them to look at our broken washer. Me and my roomate were neat freaks who always kept apartmemt clean and tidy so after we moved out we were surprised with a letter from them saying that we trashed the place and they had to replace ...all the carpet because we ruined it and they wanted us to pay for it. When we confronted them about it and asked for before and after pics from them and carpet quotes and costs they immediately backed off because it was a false claim. Awful Experience
August 9, 2016The staff is rude and fail to be empathetic. The prices are way too high. Maintenance is late ALWAYS by sometimes even a MONTH to fix an issue. My family and I were treated poorly. We were lied to and there are hidden fees. They're untrustworthy, money hungry. There was a roof over my family and I's head. Therefore, it receives a 1 out of 10. NEVER again. Please. Great place in heaven
August 14, 2015The bear creek has a great staff of employees that makes the place feel like family, it is dog friendly and spacious are for dog lovers to leash there dogs around. There is a play ground for the children to play so they can make friends every body likes having friends, the apartment is more than enough room to hold a good size family. The city has great mom and pop shops to do shopping and enjoy your walk in the town, it is in Petoskey Michigan and it is like living in heaven.Review from Apartments.com

August 6, 2015Apartments are very nice and very spacious however priced very high. We received a promo price for our lease term and is still the most expensive apartment we have ever rented. Biggest disappointment based on monthly cost of rent is the lack of decent snow cleaning in the winter and yard clean up in summer. Otherwise apartment buildings are well maintained and energy efficient. Near town an restaurants as well as grocery stores. Clean, roomy, comfortable
July 31, 2015our apartment is very nice. It has more than we expected to find in this area. The floor plan is well designed, and has 2 bathrooms! We love having the washer and dryer in the apartment. The staff are very friendly, and the maintenance staff do a good job keeping the grounds looking good. Most importantly they keep up with the snow removal!
