Berkley Spring Apartments

The hall bathroom is large. Each unit either has a patio or balcony, which is very nice. Ceiling fans throughout are another plus. I don't personally use the pool, but my daughter does. Now, the negatives....the refrigerator is tiny, and so is the kitchen sink. I don't mind a galley kitchen, but the small fridge and sink are annoying. The insulation in my apartment is TERRIBLE. The bedrooms are freezing in the winter, and unbelievably hot during the summer. Maintenance said we weren't shutting our windows properly, which made no sense. You can open the bedroom closets during the winter, and they feel like meat lockers. There is an extreme shortage of parking. For a building of 8 3-bedroom units, there are 12 parking spaces, which makes absolutely no sense. So you end up parking in front of another unit and walking. If you have Verizon wireless, you can forget getting any reception here. We have to make all phone calls out on the balcony. Also, we had to switch to Charter for cable. The current maintenance personnel is extremely nosy and unprofessional. He posts on facebook about the tenants, and even private conversations he overhears. Like I said in the beginning, many pros and cons about living here. It does have it benefits, and is an all around clean place to live, without any riff raff.
