Never been happier
April 24, 2019I sold my condo a year ago and needed a place to rent before buying again. What I didn't want was one of those uptight apartment complexes that make you walk a mile to your car and want to verify that you make 10 grand a month before letting you in. Instead, Eastview Manor has a relaxed atmosphere, fresh air, and phenomenal maintenance staff. It's worth the extra commute to my office. Downsides: 70s facility without a pool. Rustic country hallway paintings need to go. Maybe the old folks like ...it? Upsides: Heat is free - that's a $200 value in our winters! The laundry facilities are in each building so I don't have to brave the cold. Neighbors are totally fine. The view is incredible. I wake up every morning and look down at the hills of Victor, a view for a millionaire. On summer nights, I'm always hanging out on my balcony. Yes, I know one reviewer was upset that there are no reserved parking spaces with magical numbers on them. But the #1 reason I love living here is because it's relaxed, and not some dictatorship where bureaucrats spank you for misbehaving. If I wanted to live like an animal, I'd go to NY City. So, if you're adult enough to park your car without guidelines, come be my neighbor. There's plenty of parking to go round.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Good for the price
September 4, 2015The units are older style units with heat and hot water included. If your building has several early morning people be sure to get up and in the shower first and you will be without hot water quickly. Parking can be a pain, as none of the spots are marked for your unit. The repairs that are done are never completed. Management is NOT on site. If managed better and with updates the units would be worth much more and could get better rates.
