April 3, 2023I moved in at the beginning of March and it has made my school life so much easier. I was driving from Lincoln, Alabama to Jacksonville everyday, and since I have moved here I am so much closer to the school! The room is perfect as well as my roommates! Wonderful Housing
March 9, 2022I’ve been residing in Gamecock Village for about a year now. The staff is very communicative and does not leave their tenants in the dark. The apartments are really nice as well. A full walk in closet, a personal bathroom, and a full bedroom for this price is very hard to come by these days. It is amazing.Review from Apartments.com
Rude and unhelpful management, COCKROACHES GALORE
November 2, 2017If you love cockroaches, this is the place for you. During my time there, I dealt with MASSIVE amounts of cockroaches. After multiple spraying attempts, it clearly was not working and my issue was not being addressed until I spoke out loud enough and became a headache for them. THEN, after my roommate and I moved to a different room at Gamecock, our prices were NOT the same! And for no explainable reason. When I e-mailed the company that owns Gamecock Village, I received an extremely rude phone ...call from someone on the Gamecock Village management staff and was talked down to quite a bit about the issue. Decent apartment
August 20, 2015The apartment itself is nice. My complaint is the management and maintenence. First, the management isn't helpful with anything besides collecting rent. Second, the maintenance here is extremely incompetent. They never actually fix anything here. Our washer is the biggest concern. For months we've complained that it hasn't ran cold water, only hot, which drives the power bill up. The maintenance claimed to have fixed the problem, but they only switched the hot and cold water switches. July 25, 2015A 3 bdr, 3 bth apartment for only $400/month is unbelievable. For my husband, myself, and our children this home would be ideal because it is close to our work.
