Great Place To Live With A Few Minor Setbacks
September 26, 2015Pros: Everything Except Electric Is Included in your rent. Maintenance is always on site and they do regular bug and rodent checks(Ive never seen any and ive been here for two years) Tenants are quiet, respectful, and friendly. The ones that aren't don't associate with anyone so you do not notice. Its close to the park, and very close to the highway as well as several locations to eat and shop. Bus route makes their way into the apartment complex for children who live deeper in the ...complex Despite there being many more cons than pros, they are quite lenient on your behavior and what you do in your own apartment. As long as you are not disrupting other people, they don't bother you. Cons: Property Manager/ Landlord is hard to get a hold of. Thier Voicemail is full 70 percent of the time, they are not in the office when you need them to be. The apartment buildings are old and need work. For the rent that I pay I would expect better maintained utilities but I guess that's what happens when they are included. The air conditioning and heater is loud and hard to manage with the thermostat that they provide. The heater supposedly has a governor on it that stops it but I think mine is broken and I come in to a house that is like 90 degrees when i have the thermostat set to 75. Same with my air conditioning. It just keeps running and running until its under sixty in my house. The paint is cheap so when you try to clean finger prints the paint just comes right off the walls even with a damp paper towel or cloth. The stoves are old and are hard to maintain the right flame amount and oven temperature. Children tend to play in the streets and not in the designated play area. I have caught them playing in my building and then they harass me for french fries or whatever if i bring fast food home. Laundry facilities are overly expensive and half and despite there being multiple settings on the dryer the real settings are hot and inferno. You get people who don't live in the apartments filling your dumpster once in a while. Luckily there is a maintenance man on site who yells at them if he sees it happening. When i get home at night, parking spaces are completely full and I have to park over by the guest parking which is quite far from my building. Your required to have a parking sticker on your car but Never see tow trucks come in to try to tow the cars that don't belong there.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
