July 6, 2021I just moved my son into his first apartment. Jennifer was able to answer all the questions that I had. She came in early on Sunday to let us move in before it rained. :) Everything in the apartment looks great and my son is able to walk to campus. I hope that we will be able to be here for the next four years!Review from Apartments.com
Excellent choice
November 16, 2020I've had six wonderful months here. The apartment is very quiet and safe. Jenifer (manager) is amazing and helps me out while I'm here.Review from Apartments.com
Excellent choice
October 16, 2020Same manager since I have been there for 10 months. My apartment is completely remodeled. Brand new stainless steel appliances. The countertop looks good. Really good size apartments. They just put new lights outside for night time. I can see myself staying here for awhile.Review from Apartments.com
Don’t rent here
June 18, 2020The time spent living here was nothing but trouble. My AC didn’t work through the summer, the washer and dryer wasn’t working over half the time i lived there as well as i had to wait over 5 months for them to fix my dishwasher that constantly stunk due to holding water in the tank and not draining even thought i never used it. The best part is they have been telling me since I’ve moved out as of March i would be getting my deposit and that “it’s been mailed out” for the last 3 weeks. I repeat ...DONT Rent here :). It’s cheap but it’s not worth living in a dump .Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Campus East Apartments
October 4, 2015Campus East is a great place for students to live. It's an easy ten minute walk to campus, traffic is light by the apartments, and the rent is very affordable. The buildings are older and by no means fancy, but management has responded quickly and efficiently to maintenance requests. Oftentimes when I'm walking to class, Campus East employees will have a booth set up, giving away free hot dogs, cookies, and even shirts!Review from Apartments.com
Great apartment, Has been living in here for almost 2 years
October 4, 2015I have been living in campus east for almost 2 years. It is really quiet especially when you want to study. There is also an swimming pool. It is great during the summer. When you have trouble in you apartment you can directly contact with them and ask for help. All those people that i have meet is really great. Thank for Campus East!Review from Apartments.com
Actually Very Decent Apartment For Cheap at Campus East, Manhattan, KS
October 2, 2015My fiancé and I just moved to Manhattan, KS from Philadelphia to attend Kansas State University. We were originally just looking for cheap apartments and we thought we were just getting cheap when we signed the lease for Campus East but we ended up getting a very decent place. Campus East will boast about their pool - which is ok if you're into that sort of thing and have time to swim, but what my fiancé and I think are the best traits about this apartment complex is the space (sq. ft. Per ...dollar) and PEACE AND QUIET. We brought a pet over and paid a pet fee for having it (there is no required monthly payment for pet) and are enjoying the great living room, kitchen, bedroom and closet space that comes with this apartment. There is so much room for activities! The other perk I mentioned about peace and quiet lies in their noise policy rules on e lease. It basically states that you have two strikes before you can be kicked from the apartment for causing noise violations. This means that we never hear anybody, literally, never in this complex, we never see anybody, it's basically like we are here, alone, which is what most people prefer when living in an apartment. This is great because people at college like to party but others prefer the quiet to study and read, well Campus East is right for you if you like those things. Campus East is also a block from campus, so walking distance is prime and nobody wastes any gas or anything. The building also has a great maintenance team who are friendly and very good at solving any problem you have in the apartment. This helps a lot when you accidentally snap something off, they are good at getting it fixed.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Campus East Single Bedroom Apartment
September 30, 2015For a single bedroom apartment this one is a pretty decent size and its only a 10 minute walk from the K-State campus and Aggieville. The living room is carpeted has enough space for a couch, a small dinner table, an arm chair, and a few end tables, leaving plenty of open floor space. There is small bar with enough room to seat two people. It also has a door that opens onto a small outdoor patio. The kitchen is fairly small, with very little counter space. There are a lot of cabinets, the ones ...above the fridge are hard to reach if you aren't very tall. Some of the cabinets that are under the counter are very narrow, making it tricky to fit larger pots and pans inside. The other cabinets fit plates, cups, mugs, and bowls very nicely. The stove is ancient, it works, but it does take a little getting used to. There is a microwave and a dishwasher, however you have to hook the dishwasher up to the sink, which is more of a hassle than it is a help when it comes to cleaning up I my opinion. The bedroom is carpeted as well and it has plenty of space, with a queen sized bed we still have plenty of room to walk around. There is also a great closet, about 5 ft. x 5 ft., it has two shelves and two bars for hangers, leaving a ton of space for shoes and clothes. The bathroom is pretty small but it serves its purpose. There is not a lot of counter space, so if you have a lot of stuff you like to keep on your counters you will have to get used to keeping it else where. There is a little medicine cabinet with a sliding door that is very nice and a large cabinet under the sink that will help de-clutter the small counter. If you decide to rent this apartment you will definitely want to invest in some lamps because both the living room and the bedroom only have one light fixture. During the day the window in the bedroom lets in a ton of light even if you keep the blinds closed, but at night the one light can sometimes seem a little dim. The same goes for the living room, if you like having the blinds open all day then great, but once it gets dark an extra light or two will definitely help. As for other storage space there is a large closet in entry way with several shelves and a bar to hang coats. There is another small closet in the kitchen as well. Overall I would say that this apartment is fairly nice for a college student. It is by no means fancy but it will get the job done.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Campus East
September 30, 2015Campus East is very much a "college apartment" complex. It is comfortable and feels homey, but has some slight issues. The kitchen and bathroom are very old. My oven is from the 1980's. There is only one laundry room for one building, which holds 18 apartments.Lastly, the parking lot looks like a fault line is under it. Aside from these things, it is very nice. They layout of the one bedroom I have is very fun and roomy. The walk from Campus East to campus is very short. Finally, it is affordable ...for someone on a budget.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Campus East Apartments
September 29, 2015This complex is in a prime location that is about a minute walk from the beginning of the K-State campus. The complex itself is pretty old so you can see that in some areas but I think that gives it character and even though it's old, you can't tell from the rooms. The rooms are quite nice and my studio apartment is EXTREMELY spacious.Review from Apartments.com
Campus East Apartments
September 29, 2015It is a great college apartment. Great layout, spacing out each section of the apartment. Less than 10 minute walk from campus and just down the street from Aggieville.Review from Apartments.com
Campus East Review
September 29, 2015Campus East is an exceptional apartment complex for college students. The K-State campus is right within perfect walking distance from the apartments. The architecture of the complex feels very homey and the scenery around it sets up a very peaceful mood. There is also a pool within it that helps complete the image of Campus East. The Landlords are also very helpful and lenient which is different from most apartments. Overall, I'm very glad I chose to live here!Review from Apartments.com
