  • Untrustworthy

    There are several problems with this complex, but most revolve around an Us vs Them mentality with the residents and the staff. The pool was constantly closed, about twice as often as when it was open, and when asked the staff would respond with the chemicals were not working correctly. It was also closed to the residents to be used by a private party. The fitness center is a joke and never cleaned. A tanning bed is listed in the amenities, but when I asked about it, the staff giggled and said ...
    that it hasn't worked for quite some time. When you move out, you need to do so exactly on you release date or be prepared to go month-to-month which is an additional 3 to 5 hundred dollars a month. There is also a convenience fee of over fifty dollars a month to pay rent online. I forget where you have to go to pay it in person. Finally, when I left, money was taken from the deposit for not having a clean over. I never used the oven the entire time I was there.

  • Great place to live!

    Had no issues while living here. Ladies at office are great and will help with anything u need. Nice dog park and pool.

  • A good place to live with great management

    They have fair pricing, if you have any problems they will help in every way that they can. The people that work here are wonderful and helpful. The amenities are nice and the grounds are clean. It’s also just a wonderful community to live in

  • Great community to live in.

    My son and I are going into our 3rd year at McMillen Woods and enjoy our 2BR flat. The office staff and maintenance are always friendly and helpful. They have an amazing pool and have been making regular upgrades around grounds:) Thank you McMillen Woods:) Adam G.

  • Wonderful Place to Live/Great Management

    My wife and I have lived in these apartments for 4 years and love it here! The walls in the townhouse units are very thick so we rarely hear any of our neighbors (who have all consistently been very pleasant), there’s so much room for the cost, and the interior is very nice. Although I don’t like making anyone jump through hoops, the staff working at the office are excellent communicators and great at responding quickly, as well as doing whatever they can to assist with whatever concerns or ...
    needs you may have; special shout out to Leanne and Heather in particular for all of their help in us transferring to a new unit (we’re downsizing). Jessika is also extremely pleasant and has helped us many times before as well. I’ve lived in several different complexes within Licking County and can confidently say I’m most satisfied with McMillen. This is an excellent place to live and one you can take pride in, building up your family or even just yourself. If you value the convenience and flexibility of renting but don’t want to settle for lower quality, you’d have a very difficult time doing better than this community.

  • Terrible

    I wish I would've listened to the other bad reviews. I had lived here 3 months and my car was broken into, childs bike was stolen from fenced patio area, other children attached each other with rope causing severe rope burns and beating them up. The cost of rent and the lack of updates is horrible! This community used to have a great reputation, its completely down hill!

  • DO NOT MOVE HERE

    Apartments are run down inside and out. The playground equipment is literally falling apart. People in the office have the attitude like you're bothering them if you contact them for something, that is if you're able to get them to answer because they won't call you back. And the rent is ridiculous.

  • Disappointed

    We were shown a move in ready apartment and I was shocked at the way it looked. I would not recommend anyone to rent here. The saddest part was someone was moving into the apartment we looked at that very same day. How can you charge the amounts you post and rent a dirty apartment like this So run down!!

  • Great maintenence, great management.

    The apartments are older. That being said, the apartments are very nice and pretty spacious for an apartment. We looked at about 6 different apartment complexes before deciding this one. Management is always fast at maintenance requests, efficient, and kind. There has been some upgrades since we moved in, not even 2 months ago now. Communication is very timely between management, we can get ahold of them whenever we need, which has been quite a few times with questions. The place is very clean, ...
    well kept, and very quiet. I expected noise when we moved in here and we never hear any commotion outside. I haven't seen why the apartment has such bad reviews, it's not as fancy as the main office, but for me that was expected. We did 3 walk throughs before we decided to move in, plenty of times to make sure nothing seemed wrong because the reviews here are awful. not sure why, I've lived all over Ohio, this apartment complex is very nice.   • Do not rent here! It's disgusting and terrible management

    Do not rent here! This is the worst apartment I have ever lived in. We had to live here temporarily after we moved last minute for my Husband's job. I had friends grow up here years ago and never remember it ever being how it is now. In the best words, this place is a disgusting mess. Management is horrible and never replys to anything (complaints, issues, repairs, etc.). You are more of an inconvenience to them more than anything. Have something break and don't expect for it to ever be fixed. ...
    Noise complaints non stop to management allowing parties to occur. The police are there almost every weekend for something (noise, parties, fights,etc.). Mold. There is mold all throughout the apartments. Not only can you see it in the bathrooms, in the basement, in the kitchen, but you can smell it as well. Forget about anything being done about this as they will just paint over it until it comes back again. Parking is a mess there. They claim you have to have a parking pass, however there are cars taking up spots all throughout with no pass. Mostly young kids who are at the many parties going on there and playing loud music at all hours of the night. Don't think about ever walking around either. People will fly going 40+ mph down the streets and the yards are all full with waste and disgust with the fences half standing up. I would not recommend living here to anyone! It's gross.
