Blamed me for not doing anything about the leak under the sink (I did -- it's just that maintenance looked over it. Twice.). She scraped her fingers along the baseboard and said, "Yep, dirty." I said, "Weird, because I made sure to clean that well, there shouldn't be any dirt." She replied, "Oh, well, maybe I need to wash my hands. Let me try again." She wet a paper towel and scrubbed desperately, trying to pull up any bit of dust. She could not. "Hm," she grunted. "Not bad." I agreed that the oven and windows could've used more cleaning (in my defense, I didn't know these areas could detach). She said the last tenants were charged a cleaning fee of over $100 (which sounds right, as they were 2 messy men). Actually, I (as a single, clean man) was charged more than them at $150! That is worth a professional cleaning company cleaning for 3.3 hours, which implies that I left the place a wreck! This is what I imagine getting robbed feels like. In short, would I support living at any of KRC's properties: no.
