essential for people like me trying to get some beauty rest. Now onto the building. It's a 34 floor majestic Phoenix that rose from the ashes on 95th street. The doormen are always kind, polite and helpful. Especially the doorman who reminds me that the subways exists and an uber isn't always necessary (my bank account thanks you). If I have company (aka seamless delivery man) they call me for permission to send them up. Management has always gotten back to me same day with any concerns I may have, they also are very understanding if a situation arises. Maintenance also has been on top of everything the same day I put in the request. One time my AC unit had a leak because my filter was clogged. Maintenance replaced my AC unit and replaced all damaged floor tiles within two days. Everything is brand new, including stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher), granite counter tops, & marble in the bathroom. They also have larger units available if you want to convert a one bed into a two bedroom. YES the old elevators are being renovated so only 2/3 elevators are functional at one time. With this being the case, I have only ever waited maybe 5 minutes extra a few times at super peak rush hour times. All other times of the day it's not noticeable, and in a few months the project will be complete. I have never smelt weed or ciggs so enough with calling it "Dormandie". Some perks that are all in the building- gym, pool, fitness classes, laundry, dry cleaning, tailor, Chase ATM, roof sundecks, & a party room which you can out for the day. I love living here and it's the best price you are going to find for a doorman building in Manhattan, without compromising any of the luxuries. 100% recommend. I will most likely continue to renew my lease until my Prince Charming comes and whisks me away to a penthouse apartment. "The Upper East Side is exactly as it appears. Refined. Elegant. Imposing.
