Unfair manager.
February 26, 2017I moved into these apartment in 2015, the apartment I have has a what can only be described as a motel type heater/air conditioner in it that stick out of the wall in my living room at least a foot & a half into the room. It's not energy efficient at all and does not heat the bedroom or the bathroom. My apartment and at least 2 others I have been in have NO carpeting in any of the rooms. These floors are a tile which is on concrete so are extremely cold in winter and even in summer. You are not ...allowed to have a outside door mat. The office manager has gotten onto residents, many who are elderly and on disability for what she says is gossiping, when all they were doing was sitting outside and talking to each other. There is a 10:00 P.M. curfew for the adult who live here. The maintenance men never pick up trash around the grounds or parking lot. When my toilet literally broke in my apartment on Christmas eve (which was a Saturday) I got in touch with a maintenance man who lived in these apartments, he had to call the head maintenance man who told him that nothing was open and they'd get to it Monday! And in the meantime said for me and my son who was visiting for Christmas to knock on my neighbors door and ask to use their toilet when we needed to go!!! I was livid, I knew it was inconvenient but that IS their job. I finally spoke to the manager and the head guy was unable to come out that day, so we had to use a toilet in a upstairs unused apartment until he came out on Christmas Day, and he did show up. And my neighbor who is in a wheelchair and on disability is being evicted because all the people the landlady puts into the apartment above him, are noisy, argue, yell or stomp all hours of the day and night. It wakes him and his grandson up, so he tapped on the ceiling and the reason she gave him for the eviction was "he can't get along with anyone" and harassment. She won't allow him to sit under a tree in the shade, because she claims he's blocking the sidewalk, and told him to sit on the grass, so he did that and she jumped on him for that. Also I have been told of mold in some of these apartments, the ceiling falling down in bathrooms in some of these apartment of which she has been told and the maintenance men have never fixed. You also can't use have any cable company that has a dish as those are not allowed. All in all I would not recommend living here. I'll be moving out as soon as I can save up the money to move.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
