About Station Plaza

Station Plaza offers affordable loft style apartment homes in west downtown St. Louis, next to Aloe Plaza and Union Station. The historically renovated apartments were originally constructed in the late 1800s as the Liggett & Myers Tobacco Co. Building, and used primarily as a tobacco drying warehouse. When constructed, Liggett & Myers manufactured roughly twenty percent of the nation’s plug tobacco, making them the largest producer of this type of chewing tobacco in the country and placing Station Plaza on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, its sophisticated and stunningly preserved industrial architecture is a reflection of St. Louis’ significant former tobacco industry, the era it was built in, and a reminder of the area’s treasured history. Our homes showcase this rich history with beautifully exposed wood post and beam, high ceilings, and oversized windows that allow an abundance of natural light. These unique apartments feature open floor plans, European-styled kitchen cabinetry, all black appliances, vinyl plank wood flooring, and wonderful views of Aloe Plaza and Union Station.   • Nice apartments BUT...

    I had a hard time getting a hold of the office and I figured it was because of COVID, but as things calmed down, it turns out it’s just kind of hard to get ahold of the office. I viewed some apartments here, they were updated and pretty nice, loved the city feel, vaulted ceilings, and big window, but they reeked of marijuana. Also, their one bedroom apartments are all the same price but some of them are super tiny, and some are pretty big, so if you get one of their 500 sq ft apartments, it’s ...
    kind of a bummer to pay the same price as someone who’s got a way bigger apartment. And lastly, they claim to have secured parking, but it was wide open all of the times I came there, and on the other side of the lot, it’s not closed off, so anyone can walk in there at any time. Lastly, I read a review about a girl that was held at gun point and robbed at a nearby apartment garage just a block over... So overall, they are nice apartments, but there were some things that steered me into not renting at Station plaza.

    You can literally hear people’s full blown conversations or televisions throughout the day . The walls are extremely thin. Tenants/ visitors have also taken it upon themselves to freely go through your packages if you leave them in the lobby , so it’s not safe to have things delivered. The halls are always being vacuumed but never shampooed Or replaced . Looks and smells bad . The experience here is not what I thought it would be AT ALL . Only one elevator works and the secure parking gate has ...

    with the new Property Manager, Debbie, who always answer the phone calls or call back ASAP, I had a great experience. Debbie and Station Plaza Apartments will work with you even when you are having difficulties. The building is well cleaned and we'll maintained.
