I love it here!
October 4, 2024I have lived here for four years and possibly a fifth because it's great. It's super dog-friendly and their monthly events are great. There is security which I feel does a decent job of responding and making sure anyone who doesn't belong on the property leaves. Living here for years has shown me that a lot of things people have problems with aren't the property but instead direct issues with the residents who have lived here. There are codes to get into the property so if a homeless person gets ...in it's because a resident let them in. I have never seen or had any issues with rats or cockroaches and haven't heard of any with my friends but the pictures people had posted with those said issues seemed like dirty apartments. People complain of amenities being out of order or broken but it's residents who do these things and I know management always works fast to resolve these issues. They also do give violations for parties that get out of hand but at the end of the day it's things that residents do with which parents have issues. I have never had any issues with management or any workers here. Maintenance has responded within 48 hours of request, leasing, and resident services are always super friendly and make it easy to renew and the chance to win free prizes and food is a bonus living here. I love this place and will definitely stay as long as I can.Property Manager Responded

DON'T. Just Don't.
June 28, 2022PARENTS, if you have any option, do not choose BLVD63 for your student's housing. I wanted to wait until my student had successfully left to a post review to avoid any retribution: They misrepresent costs and fees and continually trump up additional charges. I highly question the electric bills the "third party" processes. Electric prices for a quad apartment were more than double the electric cost for a full home with seven roommates (with a/c). The overall facilities are poorly ...maintained...rats, rats, rats. Amenities are often not available. Coming off the Covid year, it seemed easier to give it a try against some recommendations from previous tenants. Mistake. I realize it is too late for for 2022-2023, but be warned. We've had much more positive experiences with home rentals in the area--from both homeowners and property management companies.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Worst residence
November 14, 2021WORST RESIDENCE OF THE AREA! -Unsafe neighborhood. -Poor facilities. -Unreasonable prices. -Worst service and lack of security. Not only is it located in an unsafe area 20 minutes by walk away from SDSU, but the facilities are in a bad state. The gym barely has machines that work and the community areas are usually dirty or in a poor condition. The quality-price relationship is the worst. Unreasonable prices for an apartment where you could either have great partners or live with ...horrible roommates and extra people that sleep on the couch without paying anything. BLVD63 does not help at all when the rules are not followed. In my apartment, there was smoking, partying, and guys (when I signed a lease in which only girls where allowed in the apartment) sleeping in the couch everyday. The residence failed to fix this or even change me to another apartment. Even though I was not the one breaking the rules, I had to pay 500 extra dolars if I wanted to escape from the initial apartment to which I was assigned. When you want to leave the residence before the contract terminates, you have to find someone to take over the lease. The residence only makes it harder always adding extra problems and delaying the process. And, of course, you have to pay the 500 dolars if you want to be able to forward with this decision. Just because they dont care about their own requirements. Those are only for you to follow... DONT EVEN CONSIDER TO GO TO THIS RESIDENCE. Fun fact: there are parties around the community areas every week and it is not weird to find stains that look like blood around the place ? Obviously the security Man does not even have the guts to do his job just in case he gets in trouble... Also, there is a lot of drugs in the residence within some of the residents. And homeless and drug addicts are usually outside the Doors...Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Renter Beware!
June 11, 2021There is no availability for the Beachcruiser apartment! The site clearly shows that there is availability, but leases don't start until mid-August. Blvd 63 would not refund my application fee and management ignored multiple requests to discuss the issue. I won't rent here, nor should you.Review from Apartments.com
Don’t live here
June 23, 2020Rats, terrible management, homeless everywhere and smells like dumpster. I do not feel safe here.Review from Apartments.com
Dangerous Neighborhood
April 8, 2019My daughter lives there, 4/2019 and I am working to get her out of there. Transients enter the building at will, homeless encampments directly across the street and up the next block and around the back at the park. Yesterday I was there and observed a person walking back and forth from the sidewalk scoping out the residents looking up at the patios and windows. The homeless have also broken in to the building- which is NOT secure and taken up shelter in the storage units available to residents ...on various floors, drug paraphernalia, needles, excrement was an issue- the property management has locked these doors but transients still enter the grounds regularly and at will. The place is unsafe due to the location and neighborhood. Up the street there are additional encampments next to the CVS - do yourself a favor drive around the building and see what is going on in an around that neighborhood. Its a dangerous place and until the property management can provide better security to residents- I would stay away.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
BLVD63 apartments
March 16, 2017My daughter moved into this apartment complex in 2015 and has been living here ever since. She absolutely loves it and tells me about all the resident events that are thrown. As a mother who is over 500 miles away, I love knowing that my daughter is happy and in good hands with BLVD63. The leasing process went very smoothly and the employees in the leasing office were of great help. When my daughter was once having an issue paying her rent I spoke with a girl named Jessy who was very helpful and ...guided my daughter through the process. The only complaint I have is that it is occasionally very noisy. Besides this, I have been completely satisfied with my daughters stay at BLVD63.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Perfect college apartment
December 23, 2016Probably the best college apartments to live in the area. It comes furnished with everything you need. Nice Pool, Workout room, and people! I am a transfer student so i missed the whole "Freshmen college dorm" experience and meeting new people. This place is catered to making new friends and having a good time. Staff is friendly and very responsive to maintenance requests. Would definitely recommend this place if you are a college student looking to live nicely while going school.Review from Apartments.com
Worst place ever
March 16, 2016Stay away from this place, I have never seen or experienced such a complete rip-off before in my life. The PARKING is a complete joke, charging us to park in an empty parkade. Seriously Everything breaks its made very cheaply. BLVD 63 you suck.Review from Apartments.com
