August 14, 2015This is the perfect building for someone who works on Wall St., has pets, and enjoys being in a relatively quiet neighborhood. The common areas are well maintained. Staff respond to maintenance requests extremely quickly (usually within three hours). The rooftop has plentiful shrubs, chaise lounges, and an unbeatable view of the Statue of Liberty. The one bedroom apartments are relatively large for Manhattan spaces. The closet space is generous. August 1, 2015Living at 1 West st has been one of the best living experiences of my residential life. I awake to a spectacular view of the Statue of Liberty from my bedroom window, have an awesome view of the Jersey city skyline from my living room windows and get a cool breeze off the Hudson River every night. I get a great amount of sunlight and my plants really appreciate it. Our Roof deck is a great space to sit out with friends and enjoy a meal, the ships in New York harbor or to catch some midday ...sun. Located a few minutes from several major subway lines, we are never far from anywhere in NYC. With an underrated supply of restaurants and bars, we are never short of a good meal or a good time. Tourist attractions like Battery Park, Wall st and The World Trade Center site are just minutes away. The team at 1 West are friendly and always looking out for the residents. August 8, 2015For the past two plus years I have called 1 West home. From the spectacular views of New York Harbor to the modern gym, 1 West has more than passed my litmus test. The Concierge team has been nothing short of great as I can always count on them for any of my day to day and one off needs. Don't forget the Lounge like Roof deck that is always avail; able for a little rest and relaxation. A Home I'm Heartbroken to Leave
July 27, 2015Calling this building home the past two years has been such a joy! While the prior management was shakey at best, the daily staff are wonderful and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and taken care of. Combine this with the phenomenal rooftop, apartment views of Lady Liberty, the gym and the large layout of the apartments, its a can't beat! I have yet to find another building I love as much and I'm selfishlessly upset the rent has risen to match its value.Review from Apartments.com
