Housed in a non-descript shopping center, Saigon Bay nevertheless does a visually stunning job at immediately transforming the ambiance with decidedly Eastern flair upon entry. Bamboo dominates the layout, as bubbling fountains and gently piped in ambient music provide a naturalistic setting that is truly memorable. Private eating huts are offered in lieu of traditional booth seating, making the dining experience uniquely romantic, and the prices are jaw-droppingly inexpensive. Many a full meal can be yours for well under $20. The skewered chicken, fresh spring rolls and traditional rice noodles are all recommended, and the venue's cooking staff pays careful attention to spice allotment, as well as an places an emphasis upon traditional ingredients.
