Not A Luxury Apartment
September 12, 2024Don't move here, it's not a luxury apartment and they should not be charging “luxury” apartment pricing. I've lived in my apartment for 3 years and I am counting down the day until my lease is over. The apartment complex was adequate until new management (Devonshire) took over. The front office managers are incompetent. Before my boyfriend moved in I was trying to get a storage unit. Was told I got one and that my apartment key should work on the unit the manager told me was mine. I checked ...several times on my own, went to the front office the manager walked me to the unit that he said was mine and when the key didn't work for him he said maintenance was working on it. I kept checking on my own went back to the office to be told that the storage unit wasn't mine and they would try to see if they had one available. A pipe busted from the freeze landed on and damaged multiple cars in which I was just told to call call my insurance and they weren't liable no apologies or anything. The latest was mold spores starting growing on our clothes and shoes in our closet which I've never had this issue in the years prior living here. We bought a dehumidifier and moisture absorbing bags that were filled in a week. I noticed mold growing on our vent in our closet. I put in a work order immediately and called the next day. I talked to the manager Ashley. I asked her that the apartment be tested for black mold. She basically dismissed me and said that the photo looked like mildew. She said maintenance would be out that day. They did not come out that day or the next day. I went to the front office. Ashley was not there but the leasing agent and maintenance said they would take care of it immediately. The maintenance guy said he wanted to make sure there wasn't a leak in our apartment. Why does maintenance care more than management? The Leasing agents and maintenance have always been great its management that sucks. Side notes the entry gates are always open or broken, we've had an issue with the fire alarm going off frequency at random times, the dog waste baskets are rotting through the bottom, there's people using their apartments as air bnbs so random people just in and out of the apartment, at least something is broken with at least one of the amenities at all times i.e. pool is closed because the filter broke, the door to the gym is broken, the gate at the dog park is broken, etc. The apartment is not worth what they're asking.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
Unpleasant Experience
September 26, 2023Unpleasant stay, my main concern is with EV Charging station. Initially it was free and suddenly they started charging fee higher than Tesla super charging station without any notice . I didn’t get proper explanation from the leasing office on how they gonna sort out this issue. If you are planning to move to this apartment because it has charging station, think twice as these prices are way higher than Tesla superchargers (if you charge from 0-100 %)Reseña de Apartments.com
A Mixed Experience at Axiom Hub 121, McKinney, Texas
September 20, 2023Our family has lived at Axiom Hub 121 in McKinney, Texas, for a while. While there are some positives, such as friendly customer service, cleanliness, and spacious apartments, we've encountered several issues that left us disappointed. The amenity center, once a highlight, lost its appeal due to the removal of the beloved coffee machine, and other amenities are often in disrepair. The most significant letdown is the charging situation for electric vehicles. We own two EVs, and the recent ...transition from free charging to a costly $0.20 per kWh, plus $3 per hour after four hours, was a surprise and a financial burden. Slow charging speeds and fierce competition for only two chargers have frustrated us. These charging costs, along with our already high rent, have driven our annual expenses to an astronomical $54,768. Given the high costs and charging issues, we're actively seeking alternative housing as our lease expires. The convenience doesn't outweigh the financial strain, especially for EV owners. Our overall experience has been marked by increasing disappointment and frustration, and we hope that future residents have a more pleasant stay.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com

September 5, 2023I lived at Axium Hub 121 for two years and it was awful. We lived on the East side of the building on the first floor behind Jersey Mikes. The apartment complex put us right next to the trash room and the apartment staff ALWAYS left trash and furniture right next to our room. It made the hallway and our room smell extremely rancid at times. It caused flies and cockroaches to get into our room very often. Also when trash bags were accumulated next to our room, the bags would leak and leave the ...floor in front of our door sticky and smelly. The management needs to be more pro-active of fixing the problems instead of waiting for tenants to bring it to their attention. This room is also located right next to the business dumpsters and the trash trucks come to empty the trashes at the WORST possible times and wake you up. (4:00am-5:00am) and sometimes when someone is parked in the way, the trash truck guys honk very loud and it's very obnoxious. This apartment complex is maintained very poorly. July 12, 2023This apartment is HORRIBLE! My vehicle has been vandalized and the manager of the property blew it off and gave no resolution. The property itself is not maintained and is very dirty. I would apply for an animal shelter before I would apply to live here again!Reseña de Apartments.com
No AC when the weather outside is 88 degrees
June 8, 2023I have had nothing but pleasant experiences until May of 2023, when my air conditioning stopped working. The initial work order was placed 5/10/2023, when my unit temperature was reading 78 and was set to 74. The next day, I returned to my apartment with a note from maintenance stating the compressor had gone out in the air conditioning unit and they had to order a new part. They apologized for the inconvenience and place a portable unit in my bedroom. The window had a piece of cardboard duct ...tape acting as insulation. In the 4 weeks my air conditioning was out, I had placed 3 more work orders, asking for follow up. I received one email back from Axiom leasing on 5/24/2023 stating they are working as fast as possible to fix the issue. It’s the Texas heat, and the temperature is starting to get higher, bugs are starting to get into my apartment because the window open. The temperature in my apartment is 79 and the portable unit is set to 71, while the fan in both my bedroom and living room are on all day and all night. 6/1/2023, the compressor arrives and my air conditioning is finally fixed. 6/7/2023, my air conditioning is not working again, and the temperature outside is now 89 degrees. I call the office main line at 7:51 pm to place an emergency work order and the technician arrives at 9:22 pm. He didn’t introduce himself, just stated he needed to check the breakers. I verified with him he was in fact maintenance before I let him into my unit. Upon inspection of my breakers, the technician informs me that there is something wrong with my air conditioning, he doesn’t know what it is, but can help me out by placing a portable unit in my apartment for the night and will fix my air conditioning in the morning. The overnight technician brought me the portable unit, installed it, apologized for the inconvenience, and left at 9:45 pm. The next morning (06/08/2023) I get a call from maintenance saying the compressor was faulty, but the bright side is I will be receiving a new air conditioning unit. He couldn’t give me a time frame on when the air conditioning unit would arrive. I’m unable to be compensated because there was nothing more they could’ve done to help the situation. They provided me with a portable air conditioning unit in my bedroom, the rest of my apartment was 78 plus degrees, and there was absolutely no air circulating. There was and is still no way to cook or do laundry without my apartment feeling like it’s been marinating in the sun.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com

January 14, 2023No, I wouldn't ever recommend living here. It's absolutely awful. Noise, trash, things break, stolen packages, dog poop in hallways, even my dog I take to the dog park and pick up it's poop. If you like loud noises, car break ins and valet trash not coming. Then this place is perfect. First floor sucks. You can hear upstairs neighbors for sure, or if they have pets, you'll hear the little feet walking.
