December 26, 2023I have lived at Waterford Point Apartments for nearly 3 years and I have been wanting to write my review of this property for a while. As such, I only have stellar reviews for this well managed and well maintained property in west Kendall. The apartments have been renovated and include stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and large washer and dryer. The apartments have concrete walls and as such are very quiet. You rarely hear your neighbors. The property also has a beautiful pool area ...and gym. The few times that I have had to request maintenance, they have taken care of it within 24/48 hours. The property is adjacent to the Turnpike, movie theater, lots of restaurants and shopping. At least once a month the property highlights a food truck with delicious food. I want to extend my gratitude to the excellent leasing team including Tatiana the manager and Eddie and Grecia for their utmost care and professionalism! If you are a person of detail, you would appreciate the fact that when you call the leasing office someone always personally answers the phone. Thanks again, Dr. G. First time renting - Great experience!
May 10, 2022My wife and I are a newly wed couple and this is my first time renting. We truly enjoy renting here and love the community. Everyone is respectful and the staff in the leasing office are very professional. Tatiana is also really nice. Management Issue.
October 8, 2020I am a current resident and this by far is the worst managed rental property I ever experienced in term of working with customers. If you plan to live here don’t slip because they will throw the books at you. While other managers at other locations work with their tenants during this difficult time of corona ebidemic this manager refused to wave $100 dollar penalty for being one day late. On the 5th of the month they knock on my door with a nasty letter saying I owe them my rent +100 penalty for ...not paying on the 3de which by the way falls on Saturday. So I ran to the Office right away With my checkbook and spoke to the manager but she refused to accept my check (the same check she been accepting for the last 14 months) and demanded a cashier check. Now I admit that I slip and For the first time I forget about paying the rent because I am used to paying everything automatically online a service they just finally added. I will pay the 100 dollars as per my contract but are they going to compensate us tenants for services lost such as the pool, gym and office during Corona. I bet not. They do not care
June 7, 2020Why pay more for a gated complex with a roving security guard when they tell you "your safety is your responsibility. We don't have security here for you" after a man was shot and killed in this complex. My dad was a resident here for over 2 decades and recently passed from cancer. The office staff that watched me grow up is now telling us we have to clear his entire apartment within 5 days and are unwilling to help or try to work with us so we can deal with this painful task and not rush ...through. Great location though if you don't mind never being able to get postmates because of GPS glitches or a maintenance staff that acts like everything that goes wrong is somehow your fault.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Not what it seems!
August 8, 2018POOR FOR PARKING!!! Parking is a nuisance!!! If you live in BLDG 1, you will NEVER have parking if you arrive home after 6PM. Management send threatening notices to tow you vehicle if you park on the side of median! Guest double park! Parking spaces are sooo small! Claims no pets allowed but I have witnessed HUGE DOGS coming out of residents apartments! On another note, apartment sizes are huge, never a problem with maintenance. Location, location, Location
July 20, 2015Community has plenty of parking!!!!! I live in a one bedroom townhouse which is basically a two story apartment. Mine is not renovated, they have renovated units for a bit higher rate. Love the space, kitchen is huge, bathroom counts with a vanity area, i have a coffee maker there, skylite in the bathroom. Right off of the turnpike and minutes from shula express way and palmetto express way. Close to FIU and Miami Dade College Kendall campus. Accross from plenty of shopping and a ton of ...entertainment and dining, movie theater is a 3 minutes walk. Great for people who like urban living and quiet enough for those who prefer suburban life.
