(Tangletown) is safe. Additionally we're just a few blocks away from groceries and other shopping, good restaurants, and a short drive to Minnehaha falls. Even more, we're just a block from the creek and the biking/walking paths that go for miles in either direction. There are some slight downsides, we wish there were a dishwasher and a disposal, but considering the very reasonable price, we're ok with it. The planes do fly overhead on their landing approach, but you get used to them for the most part (save for a few pilots that seem to roar through a little low). Utilities are all taken care of save for cable/internet and electricity, in the summer it's high because we kept the A/C on 24/7, but now that it's cooled down the cost is very reasonable, and we don't have to pay for heat! These apartments are very well priced, well-located, and a great value. We were lucky to get in.
