DO NOT MOVE IN
May 7, 2022Place is very old and smells awful. Our apartment got flooded many times. Pipes are old and broken. Management unresponsive. They left us with a hole on the ceiling for a week. Elevators keep breaking down. Really bad experience.Review from Apartments.com
Avoid at all costs if you like to be clean!
July 3, 2019This building is a mess. I would not recommend it to anyone. The apartment was FILTHY when me moved in! Our socks turned black within minutes of taking off our shoes, that’s how dirty is was. Hair, dead bugs, and spilled food in all of the corners. We chose the "renovated" apartment, meaning they stuck new appliances in, and different handles on the old cabinets. Also the kitchen has two appliances: Fridge and stove. Nothing else. So don't let the glossy photos of a dishwasher fool you. Rather ...than fixing the actual problems and maintaining a beautiful old building, they just paint over after every tenant. And paint very badly. Ever heard of painters tape? The doors don't latch due to the amount of paint build up. The trim is cracked, peeling and full of holes. The radiators kick on at the weirdest times. I'm glad we didn't pay expressly for heat, because we had the windows open all the time to deal with how hot it was. NONE of the closets had doors. Why were the closets just indents in the wall? The carpet in the bedroom REEKED of weed! The window in the bedroom was cracked. Don’t expect to every get a good nights sleep here again. Even if you’re far enough up to be away from the scaffolding that is still there, the construction on the Loyola fields next to you will make sure you never miss an alarm again.Property Manager Responded
