A Comfortable, trendy, historic/modern home
July 28, 2015The location is within walking distance of most downtown businesses (I walk to work every day) but its far enough away from the bars that you don't have to worry about weekend disturbances. You are accross the street from the Library and walking distance to the farmers market on Saturdays. The landlord is always around and willing to help. If anything needs to be fixed, it will be done within 24 hours. There is no elevator, so the stairs are a bit annoying, but keep me in shape. It's got original ...hardwood floors from the 1800's with all new appliances. From my bedroom window, I can see Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. The only thing I would change is that the air conditioner is above the cable hookups and it is very loud so every time the air or heat comes on, I have to turn up the TV.
