      This cute apartment is located at 8007 Garland Ave, between Kennebec Ave and Prospect Ave. It is part of a small, garden style brick building on a quiet street and a lovely neighborhood with friendly neighbors. There are a total of three apartments in the building and this apartment is a first floor apartment with plenty of windows on all sides and looking into the backyard, letting in beautiful sunlight. The bathroom has been recently renovated and has all new fixtures and a gorgeous tiled standing shower. The kitchen is roomy and features a gas oven, garbage disposal, a good amount of cabinet storage, and a convenient door leading into the apartment's second entrance. There are wooden floors outfitting the living room and bedroom, and nice ceramic square tiles for the bathroom and kitchen. The apartment is located just in front of Long Branch Parkway and is within a 5 minute walk to the Washington Adventist Hospital, Sligo Creek Parkway, several bus stops, and 10 minutes to shopping. Minutes from 495-Beltway and newly developed downtown Silver Spring. 1.5 mi to the Metro (Takoma), bus stop is just up the block. Walking to the Takoma metro only takes 30 minutes, and hopping on the bus will get you there in about 10 minutes. Great location! Rent includes hot water, sewer and trash. Rent DOES NOT INCLUDE electricity, gas, cable and telephone. Electric bill runs about $25-45/mo in the winter and more in the summer depending on the A/C usage. Gas bill runs about $50-80/mo on average (more in the winter and less in the summer). Window unit Air Conditioner is provided free of charge. There are coin-operated laundry facilities available in the lower level of the building. Extra storage is available free of charge. We accept pets!
