There is no in unit air conditioning!!!
October 4, 2020When I was shown the apartment it was December so I was not able to see how the air conditioning situation worked. I was told it would cool the apartment but that was a lie. The “air conditioning” they say they pay for is actually in the hall way and all of the units have a little window above the front door to let the air in. IT DOES NOT WORK! IT IS HOT AS HELL IN THESE APARTMENTS!! Had I known how it works I would have never moved in. Also, they turn it off over night as if we don’t love in a ...desert! As soon as the temperature drops to 90 they start turning it off and on during the day. I had to get portable air conditioners and can’t even have them on at the same time because the outdated electrical system can’t handle more than one. During the summer my electric bill is routinely $180-$200. It’s outrageous!! Now they’re raising the rent because they say the cost of cooling is going up! I might believe that if the apartments were actually getting cool! These apartments are not worth the inflated rent especially because you’re essentially paying for an apartment without air conditioning.
