My Beautiful Space
August 16, 2015This 18 unit building was built in the 1930's or 1940's. They are very large units. 1 bedrooms are aprox. 800 sq.feet. There is a beautiful courtyard in the entry. It's located on a major bus line to the city, and about a 25 minute ride to downtown. The construction of the building is sound. I rarely hear my neighbors beneath me, or next door. I have a peek a boo view of Puget Sound, that is much more viewable in the winter months. The large deck can accommodate a full size BBQ, two chairs, and ...several bicycles. I have cathedral ceiling the living room, and love the wood beam that runs across the length of it. I face west, so the sunsets are magnificent. There has never been any break-in's or car vandalism in the decade I've been here. The turn over for apartments is very low. We have many residents that have been here for 15 years . The owners (An elderly couple) are the sweetest. I've met them several times when they have been on site. They really like having long time residents, and have gone to bat with the Management Company that manages the property for them to keep our rents low, when it came time to raise them. I really love living here. My neighbors are wonderful and neighborly. I have a lot of space. I feel very safe. And I have parking.
