  • Just Moved In

    Just moved into the property and was surprisingly shocked at how well the management team handles issues. There are a few building issues at the time of my move-in. Still, they are keeping everyone updated and even offering substitute services for the elevator that is down, like package delivery to your door on a daily basis. I know these things are unpredictable so I appreciate the office's communication so far.

  • Property & Staff Are The Best!

    I just transferred units with, Chaya, the property manager and she made the whole process super easy and not stressful for me! Ever since the new management team took over they finally fixed the fire alarm issues as to why I chose to stay here and even rented a bigger apartment. If you have any problems the manager is super friendly and will do her best to help you. Highly recommend!

  • AJH and "management" team are awful

    I've been living here since 2013 and it was wonderful, before AJH and this awful team joined the building. It's all fake smiles, passive aggressive behavior, nothing is done when you need some help. The main elevator is broken, garage door constantly broken, air conditioner, rodent issues, lack of security in the building. No wonder such bad reviews online, people here are fed up with the property manager! There are better places near that are not "managed" by AJH.

    Doesnt matter how pretty the complex is, dealing with the rude + ignorant staff is not worth it! In October of 2021, AJH took over, and it was a nightmare. The management in the building is rude and zero help in any situation. They have no clue and are so unprofessional.

      We understand that your frustrated that 1 elevator is broken. Our elevator is out of service due to the need of a hoist rope replacement. The elevator is currently being repaired and is estimated to be put back in service by the end of the week. In the meanwhile, please take advantage of our other 2 working elevators.

    The staff is terrible, especially the property manager. They are rude and take advantage of their residents. People complain but it doesn’t get fixed. The amenities do not work, such as the tvs in community area or grills. RUDE STAFF

    Ok, where do I begin: First of all, AJH is a terrible "management company", I miss GreyStar. Social elevator is broken for more than 1 month with no prediction of when they will fix it. Building is falling apart. Elevator signs for 4 months on the floor without anybody picking up or fixing. Not even going to comment on the fact that the alarm goes off all the hot nights, sometimes 5 times a night during the summer. Last year - during the summer - the air conditioning in my apartment broke - I ...
    know that other tenants also had this problem - and the maintenance staff couldn't fix it. Staff are RUDE , amateur, without patience and never solves problems. Shouldn't "work" here. Maintenance people, RUDE STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY

  • Rodent Issue

    I defiantly would not recommend this apartment building , or any other apartments surrounding the restaurant Taco Daddy. I’ve caught at least 7 mice in a short period of time . Not only did I not feel comfortable staying at home, or cooking in my own home ( health hazard) due to mice droppings along my counter, and stove top .AI had to move out due to the issue increasing over the course of months. Management was not attentive at all .They did not offer any other alternatives. There was no sense ...
    of urgency to the issue . They basically allowed me to live with mouse traps in every room. They hired an exterminator who searched for holes but did not find any , so mice continued to come inside my unit. Their only solution was to place mouse traps down . On the very last day of my move out date , there was another mouse on a trap. I am not the only unit that experienced this. Other units informed me they’re experiencing mice as well. In addition, the fire alarms going off during all times of the night was also an issue. Below are two pictures of my place. As a working professional with two jobs , and no children I was barely home. This experience did not feel like a luxurious. Ps : I hate clutter .

    I have lived here for 10 months and this place is a nightmare. The fire alarms go off regularly at all hours and show no signs of being fixed. In the 10 months, they have gone off at least 15 times (I have the emails after each one with empty apologies and the claims that each one is an "isolated incident"). Nothing is ever done to fix them. The most recent one was this past weekend at a little after 3am. Avoid at all costs. I feel sorry for anyone who decides to live here.

  • Fire Alarm Issue is Real

    I have lived in this building for ~3 years. The reviews about the fire alarm are true. It goes off at least once every 7-10 days and has gone off in the middle of the night, during the work day and anytime in between. Not once has the old management company (Greystar) or the new one (AJH) done anything to meaningfully remedy the situation or taken substantive steps to fix the issue. If you are considering this building, I would strongly advise trying others in the area over this one.

  • Illusion of Luxury

    These newer developments are built so cheaply that it’s ludicrous to call them luxury. At first glance the property looks great but take a closer look and you’ll notice the shoddy craftsmanship. To make matters worse, the fire alarm is in a constant state of disrepair. It goes off an average of twice a month in the wee hours of the morning. Many of the neighbors also don’t pick up after their dogs so you’re lucky if you don’t step in dog Pooh at least once a week. The building is now managed by ...
    AJH. Not a great experience so far. Their staff is pretty unprofessional and get quite defensive when any complaints are given. Management seems to have bit off more than they can chew in acquiring 121 Towne apartments. To be fair, the building does have some redeeming qualities. The gym facility is great and maintenance staff keeps the building fairly clean. Though the South End has some nice buildings, it’s really quite dead out here. I would look into downtown Stamford instead. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it for these prices. Save yourself the trouble and find an apartment elsewhere.
