This is one of the original "Railroad Houses" built in 1845 for the executives of the railroad company. It has the original detailed wood trim created by a locally famous woodworker at the time, as well as the original wood floors. This is an enormous house, with two large living rooms up front (each with a bay window), a large dining room with glass doors, a very large kitchen and adjacent butler's pantry. The first floor also has a mudroom with front loading laundry, full bathroom, and 4 sets of French doors. The second floor has 5 bedrooms and another full bathroom. On the outside there is an enormous wrap around porch, a large yard, off street parking, and a garage. The house was fully restored in 2019. There is an apartment in back rented to a retired Norwich professor. A minimum credit score of 650, monthly income of at least $9800, security deposit, last month's rent, and a one year lease is required.
