Clean, comfortable studio
July 28, 2015This well-sized studio is in a prime location - there is a grocery store next door (and several more close by if Gristedes isn't your first choice), an NYSC and Duane-Reade around the corner, a subway stop 3 blocks away, and much more. The area feels safe - there are plenty of families around as well as lots of young people in general. Lenox Hill Hospital is close by. There is enough of a nightlife that it's not boring but the neighborhood is also quiet enough that I can work from home. The ...studio itself is big enough for me to have space for a queen bed, a desk, and a living-room area where I can watch tv and practice dance. The building has an elevator and laundry and the neighbors are all nice and friendly. The only drawbacks for me about the apartment are that the kitchen is small with very limited counter-space and the fridge is old. (I did get management to replace my stove). Also, there is plenty of sunlight through the huge window on one side of the apartment, but because there is only a window on one side, there isn't really cross-ventilation. Apartment comes with a window AC unit and heating.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
