HORRIBLE !!!
May 5, 2021The unit needed to be cleaned and painted as I expected and also expected that the building would of course make it beautiful and ready for me to move in (remember we are talking about a LUXURY BUILDING). Closer to my move in date I received several emails and finally received a call by the property manager Sarah. Before being able to ask any questions, Sarah said " I promise you any question you want to ask me is In all the emails sent to you". It seemed nonchalant and dismissive but I said ...okay. I was promised I would receive my garage clicker and keys on my kitchen island on the day of move in. (okay cool) ... Fast forward to move in day. I arrived at the apartment and upon entering the building I was greeted by the table in the lobby completely filled with MAIL. What a complete turn off to know that this is how my personal business will be just left out for everyone to see even though EVERYONE IS ASSIGNED A MAILBOX. I was told the mail was for residents who no longer live there but then later told that it WAS a mixture of both residents that live there as well and those who moved out. (NOT A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION). On the way to my unit the hallways smelled like popcorn and I was told that it was some sort of air freshener a resident puts out (Im not sure how that is okay but fine). Walking towards my unit there were ripped up pieces of paper all on the floor like confetti and marks on the wall. Remember guys we are still talking about a "LuXUrY bUiLdInG". I opened my apartment door and was COMPLETELY DISGUSTED !!!! Bathroom The tub was black and FILTHY. The paint on the wall on the bathroom was peeled off. The ceiling was cracked with visible water damage that indicates there was a leak that has been present for quite some time and has gone unrepaired. Kitchen The dishwasher was dirty with dried up what I will assume to be food. The oven was dirty with several stains. The fridge was empty however, the surface space was also dirty. Washer & Dryer There was a dirty cloth placed between the pipeline connected to the washer machine and the hose which was also covering up a hole. 4. Bedroom - The walls were dirty with plaster along with visible scuffs. It was obvious there was no paint job done prior to my move in date. 5. Living/Dining - All of the walls in the unit including the doors were scuffed and not cleaned. The living/ Dining area also had plaster. The windowsill was clearly broken and left on the floor.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Find yourself a better place
August 9, 2020Let me begin with the good thing; apt are spacious and mine was facing RT-440 so i had an unobstructed view. Now the worst things and there are quite a lot; addressing the elephant in the room - the property manager is the worst individual to deal with. She is very unprofessional & ignorant; you need to send multiple reminders/emails to get simple issues resolved. There is no conceirge/no-individual in the building to solve your problems. Quality of the construction is very poor, walls are ...paper thin and you can easily hear your neighbours. Packages are left in the lobby on the floor and gets stolen by both insiders & outsiders. They have package lockers but no one except sometimes UPS uses it. The property is very ill-maintained. You will often find dog pee/poop in the elevators; hallways filled with smell of marijuana. There have been many robbery incidents. One of the garage doors was broken for months and used to be wide open for robbers to walk-in and steal the bikes & your belongings. One of the tenants rented his apt on Airbnb to a group of teens for partying. They drank & puked all over the hallway in the middle of the night that cops had to be called-in. They have a tiny gym and its thermostat is locked so you need to send multiple emails to get it adjusted due to the changing weather. They have shuttle service between JSQ, West Side & 16Bennett for every 30 mins between 6:30AM-9AM & 5PM-7:30PM but it never goes to west-side and never keeps up with the schedule. If you miss it by a minute; good luck waiting for ~40 mins in the freezing cold. Shuttle driver follows own schedule & deliberately skips the trips. The driver & property mgr work in tandem. They have new building coming up across the street but if its going to be run by same mgmt; i am sure that your experience wont be any different.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
This building is a joke
November 9, 2019No live in super, poor management, poor construction, thin walls and floors with zero soundproofing, building is easily accessible for theft, packages gone missing, break ins to the lobby, and people renting out apartments to Airbnb. This is not luxury, and should not deem itself as so.Review from Apartments.com
Do not move here.
November 21, 2018This building is a joke. The place smells like weed constantly. Every day there’s different eviction notices plastered up on the front door. I have witnessed TWO resident fights outside the building that escalated so badly the police were called, one involving a knife. The building management sent no warning or communication about the insistences even though she was made aware. Someone’s tires were slashed as well, super chill. Oh, and the door was left wide open while all this was occurring ...because it was broken and management thought it was a solid idea to essentially just bungee cord it shut. No worries though, the people with the knife came into the building since it’s not secure. The property manager is easily the most incompetent human. She won’t answer emails. There’s no number to call where someone other than her will pick up (if she even does pick up). I wish I never moved into this literal hell hole.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Lovely experience
September 12, 2018So far everything has been a breeze. The property manager was great with the move in process and she made everything so easy. I am in love with my new apartment. The building is really clean and smells good and everyone seems really nice. The roof top is my favorite! I go up there to read or just hang out and they have BBQ grills in the back area with tables and lounge chairs. Super excited to be living here!Review from Apartments.com
Not worth it.
August 28, 2018Management is HORRIBLE to work with. Trash rooms are overflowing with garbage, there are flies everywhere - hallways and elevators are constantly a mess. Shuttle schedule is unreliable and there is zero communication with tenants. This is clearly the property manager, Sarah’s first time running a building. She has zero experience and a serious lack of knowledge when it comes to customer service and client retention. I would not recommend this building to anyone.Review from Apartments.com

May 2, 2018I like the place and its quitenes. Moreover, it is near the 440 street. It is near the Malls, shops in the west side. In addition, the building is in the middle of the light rail and all the buses which go to every where and espically Journal Square.Review from Apartments.com
