all appliances broken since move in + thin walls
January 20, 2025**5am wake up call happening daily because the walls are so thin I can hear a small dog barking even while wearing ear plugs** Initial problems in first week upon moving in: Dishwasher did not work and needed to be replaced The washing machine left detergent stains on all my clothing and linens of mine and my fiancé Dryer was not cleaned and full of last tenants hair and dust The replacement dryer doesn’t dry the clothes fully The bath didn’t work and needed repair Mailbox key didn’t work and ...needed to be replaced During the turnover process several areas in home were untouched and full of dust Fridge leaks puddles of water every few days AC was not reset so it was running of the previous tenants schedule waking me up early every day It’s disappointed several of these issues have continued to be neglected and have continued to cause me my time and energy since November. in addition to having all these issues in my unit and the dog next door it’s always something here: elevators broken every week, water shutdowns for multiple days, the hallways have the ac on blast and super cold, dirty water coming out of faucets, areas smell like dog pee. I’ve had delivery employees lost for 20+ minutes in the building multiple times. And my question about replacing air filters due to the fire has been ignored. Worst Building and management in Hollywood
July 22, 2024I lived in this building for 2 years and got to say this is by far the worst building I’ve lived in on Hollywood. There are much safer and cleaner buildings with attentive property management around Hollywood. Save your money.Property Manager Responded

Great location and building
October 12, 2015Perfect location seeking a truly urban experience. Building has fantastic gym, pool area and parking. Walk to hip restaurants and hotspots! The subway is even a two minute walk! The Management team is very helpful and considerate. I liked it here so much I moved into a larger apartment when it became available!Review from Apartments.com
At First Glance....Amazing
September 3, 20151600 Vine Apts. looks beautiful! Its was even more so when I first moved here. The sold the building and about a year and a half/2yrs ago they began renovating without asking the tenants input at all. It appears way more corporate/navy blue/whites/greys. It used to be warm creams, yellows, oranges that was simply inviting and still felt like luxury. I feel the change was purposed because they're renting out parts of the building to corporate companies etc for events. Nevertheless the building is ...still beautiful. The down side to my building is amenities not working properly or when you go to use a printer/fax it doesn't have ink or the fax line is not hooked up. But what makes that experience worse is that a lot of times you get a "i dunno" kind of answer, which can be very frustrating. I do see a bit of an improvement with this, they now have more hands so ink/paper etc is brought up within 20mins, (also the new ladies they've added to the team in the office not sure if theyre only temporary but they are way more pleasant and thats a plus!) but things like knowing whether they have a working fax line in the business centers are not is not known by the people that work in the management office/concierge, I find myself informing them "yes the fax has worked in there, Ive used it at least 5 times before so its something wrong with it now" etc etc. They have now sent out a questionnaire of what we residents would like to see next, with options to choose from. When taking the tour they sell you on the service/amenities as if that is why you're paying all that money to live here but as soon as you're in and you see its not all its cracked up to be they quickly remind you, you only pay for your four walls you live in. So I give them a 3 stars its not the worst and not the best but I do see improvements slowly happening. They are also beginning to add fun events on weekends for residents. Not to mention they are close to Metro Red line & buses, W Hotel and so many Clubs, restaurants in walking distance. You do get a free parking space as well, I know it seems like that should be the norm but in LA parking is a commodity smh lol. Best Place To Have Community
July 21, 2015I have lived here for four years and I love it. One of the best things about 1600 Vine is the community. I am 60 and there are plenty of people my age. There are also a group of the most prominent Viner's around, rap stars, actors, internet entrepreneurs, and families. In other words, its a small town here. People smile at each other, hand out around the pool and in public places. The staff is also terrifically friendly. There is nothing I would change.Review from Apartments.com
