January 18, 2021The parking is now paid, and they took out the gate. The complex is built like an attic--NO insulation. That means when it's hot outside, it'll be at least 15 degrees hotter inside. When it's cold, either get out of bed to a 50 degree place or run up your gas bill. There's also the mold. Every single unit is affected, and we suspect it's in the walls or something structural. Perfectly healthy people start feeling ill after living there for a while. It's noticeable when visiting, too. If you ...tour, take a deep breath in the unit. When I say the place isn't maintained, I mean the building, not leaky faucets. They'll make cosmetic changes to justify the price tag (new appliances, paint, etc.), but with the lack of insulation, lack of caring about the mold and dry rot, oh, and a portion of the building starting to lean, this building really just needs to be torn down. We've told this to the property managers, directly to the owner. They'll pretend to care, and maybe they do, but not enough to actually make people's homes safe and comfortable. Cozy Apartment - Great Location, Great Value
September 14, 2015This apartment building is in a great family neighborhood. It's a block and a half from Malcom X Middle School and 3 blocks from the Ashby BART Station. Each unit of the apartment complex comes with a parking spot and the whole building is gated. My unit has hard wood floors and the entire interior of my unit was painted a few months before I moved in. This is definitely one of the more affordable buildings to live in in the Bay Area!Review from Apartments.com
