Well-Priced Apartment in Walkable Area of Hollywood
August 11, 2015This apartment building is a bit dated but is well-maintained with a super-efficient landlord and good price-point. No bugs or rodents or other pests. Laundry in building with clothes-line out back. No real communal space but cute front-yard entry and small courtyard out back. Neighbors are friendly but keep to themselves, no excessive noise or drama. Parking is a real issue in the neighborhood but that's because it's quite densely populated, making it super walk-able and charming (but parking is ...a nightmare). Close to UCB theater and restaurants on Franklin Avenue as well as restaurants in Thai Town. Walk-able to Hollywood/Vine craziness and nearby a metro stop. Easy hike up to Bronson Canyon Griffith Park Observatory and right near 101 freeway. Neighborhood is pretty safe, even at night, but you occasionally see some homeless folks around the neighborhood-- It's Hollywood-- but it feels much more like Los Feliz than walk-of-fame-blvd-of-broken-dreams.
