This apartment in tucked in the corner right next to the laundry room. This is quite possibly one of my favorite things given just how easy it is on laundry day. The building offers an extra storage cabinet in said laundry room which you can lock with your own padlock. The giant windows in the living room face east in an alley so you do get some sun, but it stays fairly cool in the summer--a must have. Ladd's Addition. The apartment itself isn't super roomy, but perfect for one person. It's a one bedroom with enough room for a queen sized bed with a couple cabinets in the bedroom, as well as a smaller couch and chair in the living room. The kitchen is just stuck in the wall as part of the living room, but it definitely do-able. The whole place has been updated with parts and pieces from Ikea giving it a slightly modern look. The bathroom definitely benefits from this. The only thing that's not my favorite would be the water pressure, but there's definitely worse things to deal with. The location of being just off of 12th is to die for and I don't look forward to the day I end up leaving for a bit bigger place. For now it's perfect!
