Specifically, the tub which is only good for standing in to take showers because of the rust ring that can't be removed, due to water that settles in the tub, because the room itself is slightly tilted. The sink and toilet need replacing but usable. The kitchen is small with no counter space but there is room for a portable cart for cutting. A smaller stove would make the kitchen more user-friendly and a complete overhaul of the sink and cabinets would make the coziness of this separate kitchen a great place for lighter meal cooks. A studio size refrigerator is your best bet but not provided. The building is relatively peaceful but only average on quietness and perhaps that's because this unit is on the 1st floor. Laundry room located in the basement. This unit does not come with a parking space but street parking with a permit is ok. Located very close to the 2 and 134 freeways. It's a nice temporary home for someone getting acclimated to California, the Valley, from another state. The price is consistent with the area, less than $950, utilities are not included and because of the needed upgrades mentioned above, the cheaper rent seems a bit too much! This 1920's building has a lot of character, a visitor described it as "Old Hollywood Flair" but in general, it needs an overhaul!
