2121 Ella Apartments
August 9, 2024I recently inquired about the property, 2121 Ella Apartments. The office staff was very helpful and under new management. I was given a tour of the apartments. They are very clean and the community, current residence, was very nice. They have an onsite courtesy officer, who I've seen walking around and interacting with the community. Terrible Noise Pollution / no effective help from mgmt
June 9, 2020On 2nd floor and a terrible experience. Building is very cheaply made and floors are so thin you will hear every step from above unit, amplified by the wooden floors which are not insulated. Not only that, you will hear everything else from doors/cupboards shutting as if it were inside your own unit, but the worst of it is foot traffic. Overall, quiet enjoyment does not exist here. Management would not transfer me to a 3rd floor, nor let me out of the lease, and basically left me stranded, doing ...nothing effective to help. Meanwhile, my unit has been under constant earthquakes - all day/night, so bad that the ceiling fans shake. Units have somewhat a modern look but don't let this fool you; tap on the walls/floors if you're renting 1st or 2nd floor to get an idea of how noise travels here. The building is clearly cheaply built; probably slabs of sheet rock and no cement nor noise insulation. Management wasn't able to help me for 9 months and counting, so don't count on them for help. It looks like they rotate management here so they don't have incentive to do anything other than collect rent, unlike in other places I've lived before.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
